If you are looking for a place to have some great food, a family-friendly atmosphere and some of Oregon's best micro-brewed beer, you have to visit Mia & Pia's.
Most nights, it is an exception not to see the owners, Rod & Jodi Kucera, mingling with customers, bussing tables and manning the taps or even delivering pizzas.
The pizza is outstanding, and they have plenty of appetizers, sandwiches, soups, etc. -- even PB&J for distinguished palates.
One of my favorite things about Mia & Pia's is that it is very family friendly. They have plenty of video games for the kids (they even host a free game night on Tuesdays).
And, for beer connoisseurs, I think it is some of the finest micro-brewed beer that I've had. While I would concede that the consistency is not as granular as a Deschutes or Full Sail product, the character of each batch is what I appreciate.
Owner Rod Kucera also serves as the brewmeister, and crafts his beers at a converted dairy south of Klamath Falls (tours are available). My favorite flavor is Spring Lake Amber Lager.
